Mastering engineer,
producer, and audio engineer Pieter Snapper has been part of the Babajim team
since its inception in early 2009. As an engineer and producer he specializes
in classical, world music, hip hop, electronica, experimental music, and
hardcore, while as a mastering engineer he is at home in all genres.
Pieter
is particularly known for producing, recording, mixing and mastering Fazil
Say’s “Şarkılar” series (İlk Şarkılar, Yeni Şarkılar, and Güz Şarkıları), and
he has worked with a wide range of international artists including Ibrahim
Maalouf, Titi Robin, Stewart Copeland, and Peter Murphy. He has also worked
with a veritable who’s who of Turkish artists over the past 20 years – MFÖ,
Sertab Erener, Ajda Pekkan, Teoman, Athena, mor ve ötesi, to name but a
few.
